4. Semantic Search System

Chapter 4 serves as an overall overview of the system, presenting the provided requirements and the implemented search system architecture. The goal of this thesis was to implement a semantic search system that would help in the court decision process. This Chapter will introduce the different stages of the system, including a Language Model designed to achieve our goal: Legal-SBERTimbau. This language model is explored in more detail in chapter 5.
